Dear Church Member, Regular Attendee and Visitors,In November of 2008 while driving through the desert of Arizona, I felt like I was in a personal desert. I felt as though Vanessa and I were putting out a lot of ministry resources and not seeing much fruit from our labors. I knew in my spirit that God was not holding out on us, but I needed to know if there was something that we could be doing differently in order to bring better results into our ministry. I asked the Father in Jesus’ Name to show me what to do. Of course, He immediately began to show me some areas that needed to be shored up. The first of which was in the area of personal financial management. I knew in my heart that as we were ministering to people about planting churches and evangelism we could not get very far without them being financially free to give and serve. It was at this time that we heard about ‘Momentum’ and I knew that this was the answer to my recent prayers.Our pastors and several of our team members have gone to DaveRamsey’s office and received the Momentum training and have applied these tools to our vision, mission and system of ministry here at Banner Of Truth International. We are now ready to launch‘Momentum’ in our congregations.This class is called Financial Peace University and it covers everything from the budgeting and saving basics to real estate and investing in a way that’s easy to understand and fun!  And it’s all rooted in the timeless truths of God’s Word. The average family pays off $5,300 and saves $2,700 just during the 13-week course! We are expecting tremendous Momentum. We are beginning a great journey together.
